
Las Vegas Filipino Short Film Festival
The Second Edition of the Las Vegas Filipino Short Film Festival, encores the celebration of storytelling through the powerful medium of film. Filmmakers from diverse backgrounds to showcase their unique perspectives, bringing together a rich tapestry of voices and experiences. With a mission is to foster connections within the creative community and elevate underrepresented voices in the cinematic landscape, the shortfilm competition has attracted a total of 60 particiating film entries which will vie for the prestigious Crisostomo Ibarra Awards, as a symbol of excellence in film and storytelling. The Crisostomo Ibarra Awards were designed to embody the transformative heroism and enduring ideals of the iconic character from José Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere.

MEET THE CANDIDATES
E CUBE PRODUCTIONS organized a candidate’s forum at the Truffles n’ Bacon Cafe on the 10th of October. It was a good experience to meet the local Henderson candidates in an intimate setting and ask them questions that are to impact families rather than the community at large. Candidates present were Marla Renteria, for Henderson Justice Court Dept.1, Fil Am Karl Katarata, for CCSD School Board, Michael Naft, for Clark County Commissioner, Annette Dawson Owens for Nevada Assembly, and Monica Larson who is running for election to the Henderson City Council (see photos below). There were flyers as well to guide voters on supporting the YES vote on Question 3.
The Philippine Times of Southern Nevada and The Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Nevada co-hosted the Meet-n-Greet style event. Among media personalities present were Joe Buban of FilAmTV who live streamed as the candidates talked, and the Q and A portion as well. Law advocate Christian Bishop sponsored the event.

Pinoy Pride Festival
E Cube Solutions proudly participated in the Pinoy Pride Festival, with a special highlight on the vibrant Parade of Festivals, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and colorful Philippine festival traditions. This celebration perfectly aligns with our mission to support and promote culturally rich events that bring the community together, honor our roots, and create lasting impact. We remain committed to uplifting the Filipino-American spirit and preserving our shared heritage for future generations

Health Care Symposium IV
HEALTH CARE Symposium was organized to amplify the need for better healthcare in Nevada and was participated by many healtcare providers and those involved in the home health industry.
Margie Gonzales was one of the featured keynote speakers on this evevnt.

Communities United 2024
COMMUNITIES UNITED was the event on Sept. 20th at the rolling amphitheater of the Clark County Government Center. It was an afternoon of Asian, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders’ cultural presentations bringing dance, music, and other performances one pleasant afternoon. On top of that, volunteers were all over trying to get more people to register and vote.
E Cube Productions showed presence via a colorful booth showing traditional fabrics from the Philippines and the candidates E Cube was representing.
Communities United wa organized by the SEIU Local 1107, one of the largest service unions in the valley.
